The role is encouraged to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/standard methodologies to improve our current services and technologies.
Role: Lead Java Fullstack Developer (Hybrid)
Roles/Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of complex applications using Spring Boot, Microservices, and Core Java.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices in coding, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Candidate needs to have Strong Agile Experience and Ability to understand and write User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and run Scrum Ceremonies.
Required :
• Java 1.8, Spring boot, OpenAI (swagger) OAuth/JWT, Microservices
• GCP (Cloud Run, Apigee Gateway), JBoss 5
• Ability to Lead Agile Team/Scribe User Stories and Acceptance Criteria by working with clients.
• Oracle/Sybase
• Apigee Integrations knowledge
Bachelor of Science or Equivalent
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
