The NDC OMS team plays a crucial role in driving the success of one of Sabre's most important growth initiatives: the NDC distribution. We focus on designing, developing, and maintaining Order services for NDC distribution at Sabre. We are responsible for managing and providing Order data to both internal and external customers, hosting multiple Order management services, and building Order data stores using a modern, scalable, microservice-based architecture that is oriented towards Google Cloud. Lead Java Software Engineer

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, test and debug complex software solutions

Design and build prototype applications

Research best practices, new tools and technology.

Work closely with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them

Work closely with the Product team to understand business requirements

Assist in the development of software technical documentation

Support SRE in our effort to evolve CI/CD processes and stability

QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of relevant professional experience as a Java Developer

Good organizational skills, self-discipline and commitment-orientation

Excellent Java/J2EE programming skills

Expert knowledge in Java Core Multithread

Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Unix/Linux

Experience with noSQL/Couchbase

Experience with REST/JSON/XML/Web Services

Experience with JUnit/Unit Testing

Experience with Spring framework

Experience with cloud-based technologies (GCP)

Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills in English, written and verbal

Demonstrate winning culture

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
