**Your role and responsibilities**
We are seeking an experienced lead lithography engineer in the area of EUV lithography for advanced BEOL technology development. The hired candidate will be a demonstrated technical and industry leader in EUV lithography, BEOL patterning processes such as Trench/via multi-patterning , single expose pitch scaling, edge placement error budgets etc and/or EUV photoresist/underlayer/hardmask materials as demonstrated through work experience, project leadership or published work. The candidate will be a hands-on engineering leader with strong skills in guiding teams, technology definition decisions and materials selection from an early concept into mature elements that enables leading-edge technology. The candidate should also be a motivated self-starter, demonstrating strong understanding of industry trends and lithography roadmap in the interconnect area and able to clearly articulate and influence across departments to drive technical agenda in a fast-paced organization. The position also requires mentoring junior engineers to ensure execution of key workstreams. Hands on experience with CDSEM, stochastics analysis and large area inspection techniques is preferred. Familiarity with computational lithography (OPC/RET development) and test vehicle/mask design is a plus. Generation of Intellectual Property for IBM and protection of it through the patenting process are also expected. The hired candidates must possess strong analytical and design-of-experiment knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
You must be willing to work in Albany, NY, with occasional day travel to Yorktown Heights, NY, and infrequent overnight travel to various locations worldwide. (<10%)
This position requires BS degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or a related field, with relevant industrial experience.
