Your missionEnsure a safe and healthy work environment through compliance with legal regulations and mill procedure (e.g., OHS Act, ISO systems)Support the planning department to comply in all respects with the relevant regulations by implementing the necessary control measuresManagement of individual development planPlanning team performance management as per KPIsInput to training and development matrix for the departmentCoach, mentor and train junior plannersShutdown and day to day maintenance planning leadershipDevelopment and maintain Mill High Level and Detail Level schedules on Primavera and or MS ProjectsCompile progress tracking reports and flag schedule risks and identify mitigation plans for planning and scheduling risks to managementAssist in developing planning and scheduling principles and guidelinesEnsure standard planning and scheduling methodology is followed across the MillInvolvement with critical work scoping, planning and schedulingInvolvement with Work Execution review, e.g. job cards quality of data, e.g. hrs., history, to improve the systemShut readiness e.g. Work pack readiness, contents including quality control plans, spares, risks etc.Stand-in for the dept managerYour profileNational Diploma in Engineering or related equivalent qualification MDP or relevant management qualifications would be considered advantagesMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or a related role3 years’ experience in a supervisory or people management positionProven experience in shutdown planning and scheduling, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environmentExperience in SAP as a CMMS platformExperience in scheduling via Primavera and / or MS ProjectsOur Offer:Location: 7 Western Arterial, Alton, Richards Bay, 3900Duration: Permanent Benefits: Health benefits Learning & Development Get in touch:
