Lead Maintenance Technician Details:

Direct Hire position$85,000.00 to $120,000.00 /annuallyFirst ShiftReviews work orders to determine work priorities. Prioritizes and delegates the work to Team members or outside contractorsRepair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operationsCommunicates and coordinates service repair and parts and coordinates with purchasing dept. the orderingPerforms maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of air required for operationsRequests tools, equipment, and supplies required for operationsComplies with company policies and safety regulationsActively participates in the; development, enforcement and training of Safety Programs relative to the Maintenance department and OSHA regulationsDocuments and reports all Attendance Occurrences, Incidents, Injuries and Near MissesUphold the Company’s Quality, Work & Safety standards and rules

Lead Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

A minimum of a High School Diploma or EquivalentJourneyman’s Card or completion of a registered or certified electrical/mechanical apprenticeship program – Preferred10  years of experience preferred in manufacturing maintenanceWorking knowledge of electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic conceptsKnowledge of relay and programmable logic controllers; PLC troubleshooting and programmingStrong communication skills both oral and written to multiple levels of audienceAbility to read, analyze, and interpret; general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulationsRead and interpret documents such as, work rules, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to understand and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, diagrams, engineering specifications and operating instructionsAbility to write reports, business correspondences and procedure manualsAbility to perform machine repair and automation equipment repairAbility to perform machine maintenance and machine troubleshootingComputer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft productsExperience with printed circuit boards.Ability to be certified in forklift operation
