The Lead Maintenance Technician will lead and coordinate maintenance work with direction from the Building Services Director, work involved includes performing repairs, maintaining the community internally and externally, maintaining equipment and ensuring well maintained buildings and grounds. Requirements for a Lead Maintenance Technician: + High School Diploma or GED. + Minimum two years' experience in carpentry, electrical and plumbing. Documented apprenticeship or vocational schooling inlieu of two years' experience. + Experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Responsibilities for a Lead Maintenance Technician: + Responsible for general maintenance of building. Install, maintain and repair equipment such as heat pumps, motors, compressors, hot water circulating pumps, fans, unit heaters, condensing coils, motor starts, circuit breakers, and control valves, boilers, cooling towers, thermostats and close-loop controllers. + Assist Building Services Director with vendors, compliance program, monitor BAS, equipment and inventory logs, scheduling,conduct room and work audits and representing department in the Directors absence. + Responsible for preventative maintenance on all equipment. Maintaining of Logs for Preventative Maintenance and Boilers + Order, maintain par levels, organize, document inventory and process orders. + Complete work orders as assigned in a timely manner + May purchase tools, supplies and materials + Responsible for checking WorxHub for Work Orders and Preventative Maintenance assigned, closing out when completed andincludes any parts used.
