The primary focus of this role is product integrity and completion.
This is a working level position that requires a high level of aviation maintenance expertise and is directly responsible for the maintenance / workmanship performed under his/her direct oversight.
§ Ensure personnel under his/her direct oversight perform maintenance in accordance with approved data
§ Coach mentor employees on proper maintenance techniques and procedures.
§ Communicate needs to supervisor/manager.
§ Process maintenance forms and authorize by signature and date after work is completed.
§ Be familiar with contents and procedures described in the Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals.
§ Notify the Director of Quality Assurance of suspected un-airworthy conditions found during the performance of his/her duties.
§ Assure parts received from stock are properly identified.
§ In the case of shelf-life material, assure they are not expired. If material is outdated, assure outdated materials are presented to his/her production lead and/or inspector for identification as nonconforming and for proper disposition.
§ Accomplish his/her work in accordance with proper aircraft standards, manufacturer’s approved data, FAA approved/accepted data, industry standards, or standard shop practices.
