Akima Intra-Data is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer for our project in St. Louis. Great opportunity to contribute from the ground floor of construction of a new facility!
Responsibilities
The lead ME is a full-time, on-site position and will serve as the subject-matter-expert on all mechanical systems.
Advise contractor's HVAC technicians in troubleshooting system malfunctions.
Review preventive/predictive maintenance plans.
Perform overall capacity management (maintain building calculations to manage supply available with loads required); and ensure building modifications comply with code requirements and original design intent.
Qualifications
The Lead Mechanical Engineer is required to be a licensed and registered professional engineer.
Must have experience advising HVAC technicians in troubleshooting system malfunctions.
The Lead Mechanical Engineer is required certified in LEED for Building Operations and Maintenance.
Minimum of five years of related experience.
Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI access.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with AUTOCAD, BIM and Revit applications and standards is a plus.
An active DoD TS/SCI w/ CI poly is preferred.
Knowledge of various preventive maintenance models desirable.
