The Lead will work with the Manager of Medical Records to provide support and assistance related to all aspects surrounding the operations of the Medical Records department. This position will act as an additional resource for the employees of the department. Duties include, but not limited to oversight of Medical Record release of information, all order work queues and Retarus sorting, directing, and collating all pertinent information. Responsible for the accuracy, completeness and confidentiality involved in the medical records process. Ensures that all healthcare information processes and practices comply with all HIPAA and federal regulations.
**Job Description:**
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:**
+ Work closely with the Manager of Medical Records to secure the optimal process flow.
+ Act as a resource to the employees of the department to assure processes are understood and successful
+ Maintains and tracks all medical records work queues
+ Researches outstanding orders by contacting the Provider offices
+ Uploads data pertaining to the patient into the EPIC chart
+ Has knowledge of the Release of Information (ROI) process
+ Assists QI department with gathering the necessary documents for ADR’s etc.
+ Interacts with other departments within the agency to resolve any order issues in a timely manner
+ Processes parking permits for clinical staff
+ Processes payroll as well as a resource for payroll questions
+ Perform all other duties as needed or directed to meet the departments needs

+ Participate in and successfully completes Mandatory Education.
+ Perform all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Home Health MR experience
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Knowledge of Epic EMR
● Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy
● Ability to work independently
● Ability to multi-task and prioritize
● Strong problem solving skills
● Good communication and interpersonal skills
