Additionally, the Residential Team Lead provides supervision and support to both residential staff and consumers in the residential programs. Qualifications: EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Associate's Degree in Human Services or Related Field CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Driver's License upon hire and Proof of Auto Insurance upon hire and ANSI Accredited Food Handler Certification within 30 days. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS two years experience in the behavioral health service field Essential Functions: + Key Accountability - Consumer Support and SupervisionOversees and provides case management/ skills training/ recovery services to residential consumers.Coordinates residential consumers' medical needs with case management/nursing staff.Provides assessment and clinical documentation.Responds appropriately to consumer crises. + Key Accountability - Staff Support and SupervisionAssists Manager with the hiring, orientation, training, evaluating and supervision of residential staff.Helps develop and implement staff schedules to assure all sites have proper coverage according to shift needs to complete necessary consumer functions, such as dietary, housekeeping, dispensing of medications, etc.Assists with promoting staff compliance with productivity standards, as well as ensuring accurate paperwork submission is completed in a timely manner.Assists effectively as a key member of an interdisciplinary team.Assists manager in ensuring expenses meet budget and assists in securing funding for residential services whenever possible.Assists manager in ensuring all agency and governmental regulations for residential are met.Works with manager to develop and implement residential programming.Works with manager to develop menus and purchase food items for residential sites.Assists in the oversight and approval of transportation as needed. + EMPLOYEE FOCUS ACCOUNTABILITY:Assures that excellent patient care is delivered by high performing staff in the Crisis Services Programs (Nursing staff, Qualified Behavioral Health Professionals, Peer Support Specialists, and Program Techs).* Role models professionalism for all disciplines; uses positive, proactive communication; is approachable; uses well-developed stress management skills; professional presentation reflects MMCI mission and values* Displays and promotes positive leadership behaviors that create an environment of trust and collaboration* Is visible and accessible to staff on a regular basis; is more visible during times of significant change or stress* Is available to staff by pager/phone 24/7 or arranges for such coverage* Assists team in developing intra and inter-departmental work group cohesion* Mentors staff in their development of clinical, interpersonal, and leadership skills* Serves as liaison between staff and Manager/Director* Conducts regular staff meetings keeping manager/director abreast of staff concerns* Ensures annual and ongoing employee education is complete* Assures that scheduling and staffing is timely, proactive, cost-effective, and meets the needs of the patients served* Assures resource allocation and resource management are in line with budgeted targets* Assists Manager/Director in meeting all satisfaction goals* Assists the Manager/Director in the annual performance review process for the department* Assists in recruitment/retention efforts for the departments* Assumes leadership role in a clinical crisis situation* Ensures that patient care activities and unit operations are delegated in a fair and efficient manner* Delivers patient care + Other duties as assigned by the Program Leadership.
