Lead Mfg Eng Technician
As a Lead Manufacturing Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your role will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing operations, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest level of product quality for Honeywell. You will report directly to our Lead Manufacturing Engineer, and you'll work out of our Columbus, OH location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall success of our operations. You will collaborate with various teams to identify areas for improvement, implement changes, and monitor their impact on production. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be crucial in resolving manufacturing issues and driving continuous improvement. U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. YOU MUST HAVE + Minimum of 2 years’ operating CNC Lathe and Mill + Experience using Programming software (i.e. CAD, Creo) + Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills + Attention to detail + Experience with inspecting finished parts + Experience with precision hand tools (i.e., calipers, micrometers) + Ability to read blueprints WE VALUE • Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) • Experience in process optimization and continuous improvement • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ABOUT HONEYWELL Honeywell International Inc.
