Lead MRI Tech
40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Second Shift (1430 - 2300, 8/hr Shifts)
Job Summary:
MRI technologist report to Team Leader, and Radiology Coordinator on a daily basis and ultimately to the Radiology Manager and Director of Radiology. With limited supervision, MRI Technologists are expected to execute diagnostic MRI images, notify appropriate persons for equipment services, and keep appropriate supplies stocked.
Additionally, this position will function as the lead technologist on second shift. This encompasses managing workflow through the department, documenting screening and implant information in EPIC, as well as investigating and clarifying all implants. This position will advise the technologists/Radiologists on scanning parameters modification based on implants.
Requirements:
Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology.
Active KBMIRT at time of hire. ARRT within 90 days of hire.
MRI Registry is required. Registry eligible candidates are required to obtain MRI certification within one year of employment. When in house training occurs, employee has 28 weeks of training before their one-year period begins where they have to obtain MR certification.
Must have current BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
