Lead Mulesoft Developer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the development of goals for the department and planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.).

- Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of systems or products to enhance performance of program/project.

- Problems and issues faced are numerous and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Regularly employ ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions to solve difficult and moderately complex problems.

- Responsible for leading large or complex initiatives that involve technically challenging requirements at this level, involving delegation of work and review of work products of the lower-level technical professionals.

Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. - Create and manage APIs, microservices, and data integration flows using MuleSoft. - Provide technical leadership to a team of MuleSoft developers and ensure adherence to best practices. - Collaborate with business stakeholders and architects to define integration requirements and solutions. - Implement reusable components and patterns to standardize integration flows. - Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing integrations to improve performance and scalability. - Implement security best practices in API development, including OAuth, JWT, and encryption. - Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft applications and ensure automated deployments. - Monitor and manage integration environments, ensuring availability and performance. - Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and guide the development team.
Minimum Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in related field.

- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Required Skills and Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience with MuleSoft and API-led connectivity. - Proficiency in developing and deploying APIs, microservices, and ESB solutions using MuleSoft. - Strong knowledge of Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and MuleSoft connectors. - Experience integrating with various systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, databases, cloud services). - Hands-on experience with DataWeave for complex data transformations. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven. - Strong understanding of API security, including OAuth, JWT, and SSL. - Proven experience in leading development teams and managing integration projects. - Familiarity with DevOps and MuleSoft application monitoring.
Preferred Skills: - MuleSoft certifications, such as MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Familiarity with other integration platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, TIBCO) is a plus. - Knowledge of integration patterns like request-response, pub-sub, and batch processing.
