Trinity Rail is hiring a Lead NDT Quality Inspector at our Jonesboro plant.

The Lead NDT Quality Inspector position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, you will make visual/measured inspection/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.  You will complete inspection records and reports and follow appropriate codes and regulations.

What you will do:

Inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products or assemblies throughout the manufacturing process May apply singular or multiple inspection processes using various appropriate NDE methods Must maintain, adjust or calibrate inspection equipment Complete inspection records and reports Maintain familiarity with appropriate codes, regulations, applicable procedures and standards Assist in completion of all tasks to meet deadlines Maintain and improve quality Train lower levels Follow all safety rules and practices May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives Performs other duties as assigned

What you will need:

Must have exposure to and knowledge of FRA and AAR regulations Must have a strong understanding of Appendix T, D15.1 and AWS requirements
