Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Network Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will lead a team in acquiring, installing, and testing network equipment, monitoring its status and performance, servicing equipment and software as necessary, and supporting the government in completing the documentation needed to gain authority to connect to mission networks at multiple security levels.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of the ground network system.Manage team supporting day-to-day operations including maintenance and patching.Supporting the government and program in authority to connect to multiple mission networks.Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches.Monitor network capacity and performance.Test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices.100% onsite is required in Huntsville, AL working on the Redstone ArenalWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree and typically 8+ years of related professional experienceAbility to design and implement network architectures.Experience in building and leading a team of network architects and engineers.Experience providing Network Engineering support services to DoD organizations, and providing support to NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and connected local networks or enclaves.One infrastructure-related technology certification.Experience providing executive-level technical briefings and presentations to senior Government personnel.Must have a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibilityWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:
