Summary
Applies advanced knowledge and experience to research, recommend, design and architect complex multi-vendor data network solutions for the organization. Performs advanced configuration and implementation of core network infrastructure systems that affect the entire organization. Develops and implements advanced network monitoring, management and troubleshooting systems and tools.Job Description
Performs rapid troubleshooting and resolution of system wide issues. Leverages advanced skills to assist and mentor other team members and in support of departmental goals. Must have good communication skills both written a verbal. Experience interfacing with Executive Leadership required. Provides guidance and mentorship to all engineers. Directs day-to-day work prioritization, and provides input on team development and direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Develop and implement network strategies that align with business goals.Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure.Ensure network reliability and performance through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.Champion network security initiatives to protect against cyber threats.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives.Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required in networking, computer science, information systems, or related technology field.
Minimum five years experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferred.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are a plus but not required.
When applicable, may need a valid driver's license. If valid driver's license is required, must maintain a good driving record.
