**Amentum is now hiring a Lead Non-Intrusive Inspection Technician/Radiation Safety Officer position in support of Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM FPS) and Product Manager Ground Sensors (PM GS) at locations both CONUS and OCONUS. This project will provide PM FPS and PM GS a multitude of product support activities to include spares, warehousing/kitting management, maintenance, transportation, shipping, fielding, equipment operator training, contractor equipment operators, field service representatives (FSRs), systems sustainment and design engineering, and supplier or total asset visibility management of Integrated Base Defense (IBD) and Force Protection (FP) family of systems (FOS).** **Job Duties and Responsibilities:** **Responsible for field and sustainment level maintenance to ensure Non-Intrusive Inspection systems are mission capable.** **Report system readiness in accordance with local command requirements and contract deliverables.** **Perform preventative maintenance checks and services (PMCS), in accordance with AR 750-1 and OEM applicable manuals per appropriate schedule.** **Report user feedback on performance in accordance with contract deliverable Maintenance Service Report.** **Record all repair actions and parts consumption data into directed system such as Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS).** **Maintain a Government Property Inventory Report as required by the contract deliverable, Installation Site Inventory Report.** **Other duties as assigned** **Required Qualifications:** **Must have a bachelor’s degree in science, or a related field. Will accept an additional 6 years of relevant experience In lieu of a bachelor’s degree.** **Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience performing mechanical and electronics maintenance and repair on both the radiation and Backscatter technology systems.** **Must have completed the Army Radiation Safety Course or another federally recognized Radiation Safety Course.** **Must be able to obtain a Nuclear Regulatory Commission license prior to start of work / handling the radioactive materials.** **Demonstrated experience in the safe use of radiation sources in accordance with Army Regulation AR 385-10 The Army Safety Program.** **Must possess a current SECRET security clearance.
