**LEAD OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST-Hand Therapy-Hand Therapy Clinic in Albany, NY**
Our specialized Hand Therapy Clinic located at our Albany Memorial site, is in need of an experienced Occupational Therapist act as Lead OT to lead a team of Hand Therapists.
**What you will do:**
+ The Lead Occupational/Hand Therapist will bring advanced clinical skills, particularly in hand therapy, and will be responsible for guiding and overseeing the clinical practice of other therapists and will also carry a patient caseload.
**Responsibilities:**
+ The Lead Occupational Therapist, under the direction of the Site Supervisor, evaluates patient therapy needs, plans treatment programs, and performs and/or supervises therapy utilizing appropriate procedures, equipment, and techniques within the scope of the profession. It requires knowledge, skill and appropriate care interventions that relate to the unique physical, motor/sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial needs of the patient.
+ Will carry a caseload of patients and act as treating Hand Therapist
+ Lead and mentor the team, coordinate patient care, and work closely with the Manager of Outpatient Rehab Services to ensure clinic goals are met.
+ Improve team cohesion, ensure adequate support for staff, and provide a clear direction in terms of clinical and operational priorities.
+ Assist with problem-solving through research, resource utilization, and supervisory consult to select appropriate patient care interventions
+ Works with other teammates in developing an integrated and comprehensive plan of care as well as continually assess opportunities to improve patient outcomes.
+ Perform other related duties as required.
**Requirements:**
+ Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree
+ Current NYS OT license and registration
+ Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) highly preferred
+ Minimum of 3 years Hand Therapy experience required
+ Must possess strong administrative and leadership skills, ensuring effective team management, patient flow, and operational efficiency.
+ Must have technical knowledge appropriate to the equipment at the facility.
+ Problem solving skills BLS Certification
+ Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written

_Pay Range:_ $39.45 - $49.80 _Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.”_
