C & B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 35 years to include John Deere Ag, Material Handling and Powersports locations, has an opening for a Lead Office Administator. As the Lead Office Administrator you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of your local dealership’s daily administrative functions. As the Lead, you would also be responsible for training/onboarding or facilitating training/onboarding for new hires, you would fill in or facilitate when Admins are on leave or PTO and, you would also be the main point of contact for Administrator support throughout a specified area or region.
Essential Duties:
Oversee and coordinate administrative duties, including but not limited to, answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence Act as primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and addressing concerns promptly and professionally Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency Daily cash reconciliation Daily AR posting Submitting AP invoices to Square 9 and supporting the centralized AP team Assist the Sales Department with wholegoods processing and paperwork Perform or facilitate onboarding/training for new employees at other locations Fill-in or facilitate when Admins are on leave/PTO Recurring meetings or calls with the region’s main FSO AP point of contact Recurring calls with company Lead Admins to discuss updates, issues, etc Attending annual Regional/Lead Admin meeting at FSO for updating Training Guides, networking, best practices, etc. Facilitate or assist when/where FSO needs assistance AR collections, AP, Fixed Asset counts, payroll/timesheets, assist in document retention, backup FSO support Identify other areas where the Lead Admin can help or assist in Facilitate best practices Perform other ad hoc tasks that arise due the changing nature of our business to help support the CompanyRequirements:
Previous experience in office administration or a related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Leadership experience or demonstrated potential to lead a team High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pullingBenefits:
