Lead Operation Supervisor
Description

Transdev is seeking a dedicated and motivated Operations Lead Supervisor with a valid Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide effective leadership, ensure smooth operations across all shifts, and maintain compliance with company policies while meeting the dynamic needs of our airport operations.   Transdev is proud to offer:     $24.80 Per Hour  Attractive benefits package, including 401(k) with company contribution, medical, dental and vision.    Paid time off & vacation    Key Responsibilities: Shift Management: Work flexibly across all three shifts (days, evenings, overnight, weekends and Holidays). Ensure operational readiness and staffing across shifts. Scheduling and Staffing: Develop, publish, and manage weekly staff schedules. Assist in filling open positions and provide coverage when necessary. Conduct interviews and manage hiring and termination processes. Staff Oversight: Enforce company policies and standards. Issue disciplinary actions when necessary and keep accurate documentation. Keep detailed attendance records and manage time-off requests. Serve as a liaison between the office and staff to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution. Conflict Resolution: Address and defuse interpersonal and operational issues among staff promptly and effectively. Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure adherence to company policies, adjusting operations based on specific airport requirements. Stay informed on regulatory updates and apply them as necessary. Leadership and Development: Lead by example to create a positive, professional work environment. Provide coaching and feedback to employees to promote growth and efficiency. Qualifications:   Valid Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement (required). A High School Diploma or GED Assist in interviewing and hiring process  Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in operations or transportation with 2-3 years of transit supervisory preferred  Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Work extended hours regularly, including Sunday.  Excellent verbal, written and relational communication skills, with ability to appropriately interact  
with employees of all levels including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives,  
Proficiency in creating schedules and managing staff records knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint  Demonstrated ability to handle disciplinary actions and resolve conflicts effectively.  Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively  Understanding of company policies and airport-specific operational needs. High level of organization and attention to detail. Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality  Possess working vehicle to travel with in service area as needed  Essential Job Functions: Use of full ranges of hearing, speech and vision Use of fingers (manual dexterity) handling paperwork Stoop, crouch, squat or kneel when performing inspections of any type Bend at knee, hip, waist when performing duties Stand while performing inspections and platform training Be subject to wet, cold or hot environmental conditions Write reports in a coherent, legible way   Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods during shifts. Must meet physical qualifications required for CDL drivers. Preferred Skills: Experience in airport operations or transportation management. Proficiency in scheduling software and HR management tools. Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience. Benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development. Join our team and play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations while leading and supporting a dynamic workforce.   The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
