Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE:

Lead Warehouse and Driver teammates to efficiently complete tasks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Take direction from Operations ManagersAssist with daily operationsHelp keep warehouse team on taskAssist with inventory tracking and report to managersDrive production of hydration binsEnsure final quality of bins are up to standardIdentify potential efficiencies in the production processKeep flow of delivery trucks on track

OPERATING RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position requires some decision making. Profits may be impacted by failure to keep equipment operating and poor scheduling of processing crew.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

Assume supervisory responsibility for processing crew in absence of Manager-Operations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

•   High school degree or GED equivalent

•   2 years of experience in manufacturing or processing type environment

•   1 year of supervisory skills

•   Demonstrated mechanical experience and aptitude

•   Previous forklift driving in warehouse atmosphere

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Job requires working in area with fluctuating temperatures; 10° rake bin, 20 - 25° vault and 40 - 50° processing area. Standing on feet all day with labor intensive work. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Requires good manual dexterity. Must work in areas with forklifts in operation and around machinery with moving parts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
