Are you seeking a new adventure? We are seeking a Lead Operations & Maintenance Coordinator, Gas Systems to join our team in Boise, ID! We are responsible for providing a safe, amenable, and ethical work environment by maintaining current technical knowledge, checking for compliance, and actively resolving potential issues! This individual is responsible for supervising and improving area performance by handling staffing, distributing and prioritizing work! Additionally, this team is responsible for communication and training completion on safety, legal, and work requirements. They conduct performance appraisals with team members in order to have goals and development plans that enhance the team members' skills and abilities. Other responsibilities include promoting collaboration by supporting, leading, and participating in department and area improvement projects.

Responsibilities:Ensures the team finishes the required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policiesStops work for safety if unsafe conditions and/or behaviors are identifiedApplies and reviews job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being doneEnsures the team follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws including PPE, CoHE (lockout /tagout) and chemical safetyFollows-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and works towards resolution with collaboratorsActively participates in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately (maximum 24 hours)Performs and facilitates audits and submits good catchesProactively finds opportunities to reduce potential hazards which may impact personnel health and/or the environmentFollows proper organizational change practices to ensure safety & quality expectations are metDrives quality improvement initiatives in their area of expertise to reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency & drive cost savingsCollaborates with the project management team in the coordination of resources, information and quality controlCollaborates with collaborators to plan, schedule and implement installation of gas/TGM systemsOwns and is accountable for the performance and behavior of the areaEnsures team members finish their work to meet critical deadlinesDefines and communicates organizational roles and job descriptions to meet the overall expectations of the teamIs responsible for workforce readiness and proficiency by developing effective training plans and mentorsMeets with new hires to ensure expectations are understood and training is progressing successfullyMeets regularly with team members to review performance, provide feedback and create development plans applying SuccessFactorsProvides guidance to identify, develop and promote technical expertise (process, device, equipment, etc.) and innovationRecognizes and rewards team members both privately and publicly for their successesMaintains relevant technical knowledge within the field to make informed decisions and drive area improvementsEnsures team maintains required certifications and training to perform area tasksAnalyzes systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savingsSupports risk and/or failure mode and effects analysisProvides engineering support to ensure facility compliance with federal, state, and local lawsCollaborates with key collaborators to identify gaps and opportunities for equipment/process efficienciesSupports benchmark activities on operational, procedural, engineering, facilities systemsDrives a culture of TPM including TPM metrics, CIP items, MTAGs, and proceduresConducts research and development on emerging facilities technologies to support brand-new semiconductor processesManages projects to ensure they are completed within the required scope, schedule and budgetDefines and leads sophisticated, multi-disciplinary projects of critical importance to MicronPrepares project scope and ensures vital guidance from appropriate collaboratorsReviews design packagesWorks closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, and relevant collaborators on new tool/system purchasesMinimum Qualifications:Associates Degree or appropriate certification/licensing in Engineering, Semiconductor, Chemistry, or similar STEM field of study.5 Years of Experience as an O&M Gas Systems Coordinator within an Industrial Environment.5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products, FBI Reporter, Ariba, and Work Order programs.3+ years of experience fixing mechanical systems down to the component level using schematic diagrams.Soft Skills: Interpersonal communicator, collaborator, negotiator, analytical, multitasking, critical thinker, motivator, leader.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience working as a Gas Systems Coordinator within the semiconductor industry.3+ years of experience leading others.
