Lead Patient Experience Analyst - RN

Position Summary:

The Lead Patient Experience Analyst assists the Director of Patient Experience in collecting, monitoring, and reporting data used to evaluate quality of care, patient experience, and performance of selected clinical indicators. The Lead Patient Experience Analyst will perform focused reviews, supporting clinical, non-clinical and medical staff daily. The Lead Patient Experience Analyst leads to create a culture around the Integrity, Customer Focus, Accountability, Respect and Excellence (I CARE) values that addresses the emotional and physical experience for the patient/customer and recognizes the central role that employees play in delivering an exceptional patient and family experience every day. Responsibilities will include leadership in planning, training, directing, monitoring, and evaluating patient/customer expectations.  The analyst will be directly involved in monitoring patient satisfaction data, HCAHPS Data, creating educational content around the experience of care, rounding on patients/families to harvest feedback, and coordinating and teaching patient experience skills labs across the health system.

The Lead Patient Experience Analyst will, as requested provide additional focused reviews and reports for various departmental meetings.

Education:

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas. Bachelor’s in Nursing required. Master’s in nursing preferred. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) required or obtained within one (1) years of hire. Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) within two (2) years of hire.

Training and Experience:

Prefer at least three (3) years in clinical nursing.  Leadership experience preferred. Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and some knowledge of PowerPoint required. 

Job Knowledge:

Should be familiar with hospital organization.  Should have an understanding of policies and procedures, broad clinical nursing background, and able to communicate effectively, professionally, verbally, and in writing. Mid-level knowledge of computers and literate with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel.
