As Lead People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) for Gilbarco, you will provide People & Culture leadership and expertise to business leaders on the people-related matters affecting their business. You will support multiple client groups, including but not limited to Operations, Service Repair, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing, primarily located in North America. You will lead a broad range of activities, including organization and leadership development, organizational design, change management, compensation administration, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
\nYou will add value by partnering with business clients to provide innovative P&C solutions and approaches with a singular focus on driving success and meeting business objectives. This position can be remote based in North Carolina with occasional travel to Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s (the “Company”) various locations and Corporate Headquarters’ location in Greensboro, NC.
\nWHAT YOU WILL DO
\n\nOperate as a business partner understanding the business strategies, goals, objectives, and financial performance of the organization; building ongoing relationships with leaders, managers and other stakeholders; and using this knowledge and understanding to drive key P&C strategies and initiatives to support the business’s strategic goals.\nPartner and coach leadership on talent management, succession planning, organizational design, compensation, and change management.\nAdapt, leverage and understand the various People & Culture practices in different countries.\nProvides leadership and counsel to management on Employee Relations issues. Leads the organization through difficult employee relations activities and investigations. \nPartner with P&C Centers of Excellence and Regional P&C to deliver programs for the organization.\nDrive effective talent acquisition strategies and processes to meet the demands of the business. Screen and interview candidates, managing the interview process, provide advice and counsel throughout talent acquisition process. \nProvide hands-on support to employees and managers utilizing various systems, tools, processes, and policies. \nIdentify and support the professional learning and development of the employees and managers. \nDevelop and support programs designed to enhance the employee experience.\nMeasure and monitor key P&C Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Develop countermeasures and action plans to drive KPI performance.\nEnsure the reliability and security of employee data, maintain employee files.\nDefine and implement company policies and practices, ensuring legal compliance and consistent application.\nAssure awareness of the significant environmental aspects and environmental compliance obligations of your operations and ensure controls are in place.\nEnsures that Veterans, Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity policies, regulations and government requirements are properly administered. \nProtects interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations. \nAbility to travel domestically and globally 20% of the time.\nWHO YOU ARE
\n\nBachelor’s degree (Human Resources related field preferred), Master’s preferred.\nSHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification a plus. \nStrong business acumen and a strategic mindset. \nAt least 7+ years progressive HR business partner (required), experience working in a matrixed global organization preferred.\nDemonstrated experience with MS Office Suite, HRIS, Payroll, and ATS system.\nExperience working independently in a highly decentralized, process-oriented, and hands-on organization with the ability to resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and highly complex environment.\nAbility to manage multiple workstreams and execute flawlessly with high attention to detail.\nStrong written/oral communication, effective presentation and facilitation, conflict resolution, and influence skills.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement the best solutions.\nExperienced in Lean concepts and a demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.\nAbility to be a settling influence in a high-pressure situation. \n\n\nWHO IS GILBARCO VEEDER-ROOT
