Job Description

Position Summary:

 

This is a Hybrid work schedule position - (50% onsite-50% remote)

Back up and assist manager in handling the timely and accurate implementation of all Rebate Price agreements.

 

Train new and experienced rebate coordinators with emphasis on customer/supplier specific rebate related topics. Up-to-date knowledge of all GPO/National rebate contracts and all large regional rebates

 

Drive special projects as assigned by Manager. Could require department coordination and analyzing data and root cause determination.  Update and distribute changes to existing SOP manual.

 

Daily management of all rebate contracts, using multiple sophisticated pricing systems.  (50%)

Load rebate contracts daily and report on status.

Supervise daily workflow to accommodate increased volume.

Ensure quality control and SOP is followed for every rebate contract.

Track and provide statistics/data to help improve timing and accuracy of rebate loads.

Lead the contract renewal process.

 

Troubleshoot rebate & contract issues.  (20%)                                                                                            

Be the liaison between the Supplier and Pricing Administration. 

Help analyze, interpret and apply information to determine root cause and resolve rebate problems.

Identify process issues and determine corrective and preventive actions.

 

 

Communicate with a variety of internal and external people to ensure accurate rebate implementation. (10%)

Internal departments such as Pricing Admin, Product Admin, Third Party, Marketing, IT, Finance etc.

External supplier reps and rebate administrators to resolve non-routine rebate issues.

Communicate rebate issues immediately to Pricing management and appropriate customer-facing personnel. 

 

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:  

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor’s degree in business preferred

2-3 years’ experience in a Multi-functional, high-volume processing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational skills to prioritize several department activities.

Leadership, supervisory, and customer service skills.

Ability to communicate (both written and verbally) effectively with senior management.

Must be a good counselor, delegator, and project manager. 

Use of Excel is required; MS Access a plus.
