Hours: 2nd Shift  M- F 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Job Summary: 

The Process Technician Lead is responsible for overseeing and guiding the daily operations of the process technician team to ensure daily goals are met. This role ensures that all machines are operating efficiently, safely, and within quality standards, while also leading and developing a team of technicians. The Process Technician Lead will troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production and drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.

Key Accountabilities: 

This position requires leadership skills in leading the Process Tech team to meet the needs of the production floor. You must sustain high performance of the following metrics.

Safety, 5S, and work area Cleanliness
Adherence to all ISO regulated processes and procedures
Direct performance improvement activities focused on mold down time and sustain OEE performance to 85% or better through a culture of accountability and empowerment
No Tech Down time (which is closely tied to mold set-up times)

Specific Responsibilities: 

Follow procedures which promotes a workplace where safety and environmental concerns are addressed to meet OSHA and EPA regulations
Lead, train, and mentor the team ensuring high performance and adherence to safety, quality, and production goals.
Continuously monitor and adjust molding processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and meet production schedules. Implement process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of process parameters, production logs, and equipment maintenance. Provide regular reports on production performance and issues to management.
Work closely with the engineering, maintenance, supervisors, and quality departments to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot problems.
Perform Mold, automation and work cell set-ups
Perform all resin material handling requirements
Ensure all ISO and IQMS documentation is complete and stored in the proper locations
Advance Molding Process Trouble shooting
Light molding machine PM work including Screw pulling
Assistance with Validation activity
Advanced use of quality equipment for measurements
Advanced print reading
Minor automation troubleshooting skills
