Job Summary

Develops data and analytics supporting growth and profitability in a region, or part of a region. Performs detailed analysis of product, pricing, and growth at a countrywide, regional, and state level. Supports and collaborates closely with field leadership and within Product Management in the development and implementation of state strategies through increased analysis, marketplace dynamics, competitive analysis, pricing segmentation, and line and segment level analysis with autonomy and limited supervision.

What You'll Do Performs data analysis that support growth and profitability in a region, or part of a region. This role requires a detailed analysis of product, pricing, and growth at a countrywide, regional, and state level. Analysis will include marketplace dynamics, competitive analysis, pricing segmentation, and line and segment level analysis with support from manager. Collaborates with business partners, making recommendations towards desired business outcomes. Influences stakeholders and peers in the management of a countrywide line of business. Develops increasing understanding of interacting variables in marketplace execution. Completes and maintains competitive and market plan analysis as needed by leadership and stakeholders. Provides recommendations using analysis and interpretation of rates, data, and trends. Creates and maintains a collaborative relationship with field partners who support local strategies. Trains, assimilates, and formally mentors new team members. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience Requirements 2-4 years related experience required. Strong analytical background i.e. SQL, Excel. The state of California experience a plus.  Additional Qualifications Power BI experience preferred. Snowflake experience preferred. Insurance analyst experience preferred. Commercial product and coverage knowledge preferred. Proficient PC skills, including word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheet and database software knowledge. Commercial product and coverage knowledge preferred. Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred in the area of business management, mathematics, management information, finance, actuarial science, economics or other analytics related field.
