Lead Product Experience Designer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Product Experience Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a healthy foundation in design and research with a collaborative approach to their design process. This role requires experience reimaging legacy solutions to achieve evolving business challenges and opportunities. You will be partnering heavily with a dispersed product and engineering team to next level a key B2B offering.

Role

•\tIdentify and enhance critical moments and opportunities throughout product journeys to address customer needs and differentiate experiences
•\tGuide teams across product lifecycles from vision through iterative execution
•\tCraft engaging experiences that drive adoption through thoughtful and usable interaction, information design, and research
•\tEnsure design concepts fully explore multiple options, and conduct appropriate research to determine the best solution
•\tEmploy prototypes to evaluate product, test assumptions, and communicate an experience with teams
•\tUtilize hypothesis testing and research to drive decisions and influence stakeholders


All About You


•\tHave previously worked on complex projects in large business settings
•\tAre a critical thinker who strives for improvement with strong presentation skills and the ability to influence
•\tCarefully consider how the customer will interact with the product, from overall journey level right down to the smallest details
•\tUnderstand and have experience applying various user research methodologies
•\tAre experienced working in an Agile environment (Scrum) and Design Thinking methodologies.
•\tAre a strong collaborator, experienced in partnering with Product Management and Engineering
•\tUnderstand and strive to achieve balance between business, technical, and user needs and know how to collaborate with a team to create solutions that meet each need
•\tHave strong awareness of common interaction patterns and know when and how to apply
•\tHave a history of creating impactful, desirable, and usable experiences
•\tHave a portfolio of work that demonstrate your process as well as showcasing completed design solutions.
