Lead Product Management and Development (Government)
**Job Description:** This position requires office presence of a minimum of 1 day per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. As a FirstNet Push to Talk Product Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of the FirstNet PTT portfolio and growing the business. You will be expected to manage a PTT solution, including responsibility for financial performance (including P&L management and budget ownership), new feature/product launches, lifecycle management, sales training, vendor management, and more. **Job Duties/Responsibilities:** + Research, design, plan, develop, and evaluate new products or features by translating and documenting customer and technical requirements into final product design. + Analyze customer needs, identify priorities for new products or services and enhancements. + Conduct research and analysis on defined market, including addressable revenue potential, competitive analysis, definition of product functionality and existing customer segments, volumes, and revenue results. + Prepare and present requirements, plans, and business cases for new or modified products and services. + Partner with business, technology and UX teams to design or modify products to meet market, budget, and schedule specifications. + Create product roadmaps, service guides, product documentation, results reports/analysis, and project plans. + May be responsible for managing budgets, acquiring estimates and requests for funding through the capital process. + Serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, sales support, and marketing as the product(s)move to production and distribution. + Manage ongoing lifecycle product performance. + Defines and drives initiatives to grow revenue, margin, and work with the Global Connectivity Management, Technology Development, Contracting, Legal, Product Marketing and Business or Consumer Pricing Team to develop pricing strategies. + Work with 3rd party technology partners in support of new product development. + Negotiate with vendors to improve the product cost structure, feature functionality and product support. + Experience: 6+ years. **Required Qualifications:** + Direct experience leading go-to-market activities for launches such as new products, services, features, and price updates + Direct experience in vendor management, especially for resale solutions + Direct experience with AT&T billing systems, tools, and processes including: OPUS/Telegence, Premier, SOC creation/lifecycle management, etc + Knowledge of Push to Talk over Cellular technology, including awareness of software & hardware solutions, competitive landscape, key OEMs, etc + In depth knowledge of software defined life cycle processes and demonstrable software product launches achieved in partnership with other AT&T cross-functional teams **Desired Qualifications** The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operational management, a strategic mindset, and excellent leadership skills. Experience in developing and implementing operational processes is highly desirable. Our Lead Product Management and Development's earn between $128,400 - $215,800.
