The PayPal Consumer Payments Experiences team is seeking a true product leader to develop and deliver new commerce and loyalty experiences for a global base of customers. About the Role:
We are hiring for three distinct Lead Product Manager roles, each focused on driving exceptional customer experiences through specialized domains:
Lead Product Manager – Loyalty: You will lead initiatives in integrating with third-party loyalty systems, enhancing customer engagement and retention. Lead Product Manager – Recommendations: You will own the development of a recommendation engine to highlight the best saved offers and financial institutions (FIs) to customers across XO, ads, and other touchpoints. Lead Product Manager – NFC: You will innovate with NFC POS terminals and enhance the wallet experience, contributing to seamless and modern payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion Customers: Advocate for users, ensuring PayPal solutions meet their needs for fast, reliable, and confident transactions.
Learn Deliberately: Develop and execute learning plans to uncover customer needs, leveraging research, data, and insights.
Prioritize Diligently: Focus on fewer, high-impact initiatives to deliver quality outcomes efficiently.
Seek Truth: Design experiments and conduct research to validate hypotheses and improve customer experiences.
Execute Effectively: Lead a scrum team to bring product plans to life, delivering impactful solutions to our customers.
Be Accountable: Own the success and failures of product experiences, maintaining accountability for both customer and business results.
Qualifications:
An undergraduate degree or equivalent, with a preference for candidates with an MBA.
7+ years of hands-on software product management experience, particularly in web and mobile applications.
Heavy consumer-facing experience, including building 0 to 1 products
Strong technical acumen with experience integrating with multiple third-party systems.
Proven track record of developing and launching consumer products with significant daily usage.
Strategic and tactical thinking with the ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity.
Resilience and adaptability; you see obstacles as opportunities and value feedback as a tool for growth.
