Lead Product Manager

You’ll be curious, persistent, and at times persuasive. + **Influence and inspire confidence.** You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements. + Challenges **.** Inevitable challenges will arise, and we’ll rely on you to look for a solution. + Responsibilities **.** Responsible for work alongside a team of product managers, User Experience (UX) and developers to bring information technology (IT) products to market, including creation of product release plans that ensure ADP’s teams develop software solutions using ADP's cloud-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning-enhanced payroll, tax, HR, talent, and benefits solutions. Articulate business problems and hypotheses to be validated with users and clients; determine the target audience and research scope, as well as engage and participate in user interviews and research. Define the problem or opportunity, the evidence to justify the investment, as well as cost-benefits/return on investment analysis. Review and assess product priorities based on the overall business unit’s Strategy, Objectives & Key Results (OKR’s), Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), Sales goals, etc. Working with User Research and User Experience teams validate product designs and user journeys with clients. Create and maintain product documentation such as User Story Maps, Specification by Example (SBE), and diagrams to communicate the vision for a new product capability. Understand software architecture and Application Process Interfaces (API’s) to translate business requirements into specifications to the development team and be able to influence technical stakeholders. Define product success metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of new product capabilities. Be a product evangelist capable of providing demonstrations of the product to internal stakeholders, as well as clients. Know Agile Methodologies, more specifically SCRUM, and partner with development teams on a regular basis to track development status. **TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:** + **Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies.** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Project Management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required.
