Title and Summary

Lead Product Manager- Technical

The Data Platforms and Engineering team (Data Warehouse) is looking for a Lead Product Manager - Technical to drive our customer experience strategy forward within our data platform. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. This individual will be responsible for supporting our ever-growing needs by building/overseeing the strategy for our Unified Data Acquisition and Processing platform including its performance, quality, capacity and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
•\tPartner with key stakeholders to identify business opportunities, solve problems, and deliver solutions.
• Using the Working Backwards method, decomposes business requirements and customer experiences into features and functions that drive the platform/product roadmap
•\tGenerate and maintain actionable roadmaps capturing specific goals and expected outcomes
•\tPrioritize the backlog of asks across multiple customer teams
•\tFacilitate backlog grooming sessions, providing the what and why, so the development teams can define the how
•\tServe as the liaison between the business and technical teams for new efforts

All About You
•\tLook at everything through the eyes of the customer in order to discover their needs
•\tBe skilled at comprehending complex systems as well as explaining technical challenges concisely and clearly
•\tBe able to effectively articulate, through written and verbal communication, the roadmap to a wide variety of stakeholders
•\tAlways approach requests and problems with an analytical mindset
•\tFinance or Payment Industry experience is a plus
•\tKnowledge of data platforms, Nifi, or data pipelines is a plus

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
