SUMMARY

The Lead Team Member Production is responsible for the Standard Operating Procedures within the department in the absence of the Team Leader and/or Shift Leader.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and direct team member’s efforts, within their designated area, to insure an orderly and efficient operation.Monitor adherence to all company work rules and policies.Monitor adherence to all company GMP’s.Monitor adherence to all safety and sanitation practices and procedures.Initiate position rotation.Designate breaks for team members.Complete all required documentation within their assigned area.Report all team member and/or operational issues or incidents to the Team Leader and/or Shift Leader immediately.Perform all related duties as assigned.

Critical Ingredients:

High school or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.Food handling certification preferred.Ability to read and/or understand written and/or verbal policy, instruction and direction in English required.Good eye/hand coordination needed.Experience at repetitive activity for a prolonged period of time.Basic mathematical skills preferred.Basic mechanical skills preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to use hands repetitively, stand, walk, grasp

firmly/strongly and/or simply/lightly with hands, and use fine finger dexterity.  The team member is frequently required to bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a

twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.  Occasionally, the team

member is required to sit, climb, balance, push and/or pull, and lift and/or move over 61 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Essential functions are performed in a distribution/manufacturing environment and in accordance with PJ Food Service safety policies/guidelines.  Exposure to extreme heat and cold.  Exposure to high noise levels.  Will work in high traffic area and may work at elevated heights.
