Summary About the Position: Located at Picatinny Arsenal in Morris County New Jersey, which is home to the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (CCDEVCOM AC), the incumbent serves as a lead expert analyst in one or more administrative/business fields. Responsibilities Lead a team of personnel to coordinate their activities in the accomplishment of assigned mission. Advise Supervisor and/or technical staff on any potential issues and/or changes required within the team. Determine the need for a variety of recurring and special reports that reflect the distribution, and utilization of resources. Independently review and analyze financial reports for correct format, consistency with other reports and possible problem areas. Prepare and present formal presentation to upper management and/or technical staff. Identify and develop solutions to broad and important management/business problems for which previous studies and established management techniques are inadequate. Participate in formal and informal meetings conferences, committees, and seminars with representatives of other functional areas, managers, and representatives of other/higher command, industry and academia. Assign work to team members and reviews work products and solves day-to-day technical problems to assure timely and successful project completion. Serve as coach, facilitator, and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and consensus-building activities among team members. Specialized Experience: Your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DE-02, higher-end of the Pay Band equivalent to GS-11 level in the Federal service which includes; experience coordinating the implementation of the administrative and management operations for a large organization; Analyzing information to recommend actions; AND Collaborating with internal and external organization to implement and executive actions required by senior leadership. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE-02/GS-11). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
