What the role will involve

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

Managing any bid or proposal activity associated with the programme, working closely with the Business Development function to determine strategy.The Program Manager is responsible for schedule, cost and technical performance of multiple projects within the company.Overall responsibility for their programme completing within time and budget, and meeting all customer requirementsManaging the programme budgets and monitoring/controlling all costs to stay within the assigned Programme Baseline BudgetManaging any third parties associated with the programme, including sub-contractors, suppliers and contract staffManagement of hardware or software development programmes

What you’ll bring

The role of Programme Manager requires the following experience and skills:

Experience within the Tactical communications and or defence industries. Proven ability to influence, negotiate and provide guidance and support to motivate individuals and the teamProject risk management techniquesProject financial management including costs, inventory and cash flow
