Lead Project Engineer

Your role will include:

\n\nManaging the execution of multiple work packages with a focus on the design, build and commissioning of medium scale processing plant infrastructure\nCollaborating with program management, technical personnel, functional leadership and support organizations to drive the successful delivery of highly specialized systems\nLeading cost, schedule, and technical decisions for multi-disciplinary engineering teams of 25 people or more, often needing to make rapid decisions based on ambiguous or conflicting information\nUnderstanding the technical requirements of a project so that you can provide guidance to the execution team and information to program manager when conflicts arise\nPreparing and delivering internal reports on project status including, but not limited to, estimates at complete, delivery dates, risk status, and recovery plans\nLeading the preparation, approval, and delivery of documentation, as prescribed by contract requirements\nInteracting with customers to identify future business opportunities and contributing to pursuit activities\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE:

\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics\nMinimum 8 years of technical project leadership experience\nU.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing\nAbility to travel up to 10-20%\n\n

WE VALUE:

\n\n10 to 15 years of experience in facility/infrastructure projects, preference to experience in oil and gas, cryogenics or other process engineering related expertise\nExtensive experience with lifecycle gated milestone development\nExperience with procurement lifecycle and vendor management\nExperience developing and managing project plans using standard tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Jira)\nExperience with requirements development and validation\nAbility to understand business objectives and interact with our customers\nProactive and resourceful self-starters with ability to multi-task\n\n

The annual base salary for this position is $130,000 - $163,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations. This position is incentive plan eligible.
