The\nMilitary Fixed Wing (MFW) Project Engineering team has an immediate opening for\na Lead Project Engineer supporting the ITEC F124 & F125/TFE1042 family of\nturbofan engines. The team is in need of a strong Project Engineer to support\nF124/F125 engine production, Repair & Overhaul, and supplier transitions in\nsupport of on-time deliveries to our customers.
To meet the needs of the marketplace in the\nface of stiff competition, the team must rapidly develop new engines to be the\nbest in the marketplace through execution of world class project management. The successful candidate will lead a\ncross-functional engineering team to support major engine systems to be best-in\nmarket under strict schedule constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Lead\ndesign and development activity of the engine system through all aspects of the\nHoneywell IPDS process on schedule, on budget and in compliance with all\ntechnical requirements. Key aspects include requirements validation and\nverification, resolution of key technical challenges, acquisition of hardware,\nmanagement of fabrication cost and execution of qualification tasks. Broad\nindirect span of control of approximately 5-10 full time equivalent engineers\nwith peak execution periods of >15+. Cost account manager for\nassigned scope, including Earned Value Management System reporting. Annual\nbudgetary responsibility approximately $5M-$8M or more.Additional Responsibilities:
