Lead Project Manager
Responsibilities What will you contribute? Reporting to the [Manager Role Name], the [Role Name] is responsible for managing all aspects of Large to moderately complex projects for a defined segment of strategic initiatives from project definition and intake to transition to full operational support. Role Objective: Proper Defining and managing of the Scope of the project; Execute & implement the project on time and to the required standards of quality, within the budget and required margin; Lead the team in a way they are motivated and happy, working together and independently to get the job done; Ensure that you are able to facilitate a working environment where the team feel empowered to perform their job in the best way; Organise and oversee the Handover of all completed work as required to Offshore Delivery and or Customer Support to enable a smooth transition from Implementation to Go Live; Identify the Risk & develop a high level mitigation strategy; Manage the Client relationship to the benefit of client and company; act as Primary point of contact for client facing activities including project deliverables, status, and testing Able to track deliverables and achieve timely signoff. Role Task: Lead client-facing meetings and also send project delivery status reports and team timesheets for client signoff; Ensure Acceptance Deliverables are mutually agreed with Client as per Milestone Booking the resources for the full length of the project and submit contractor requests if resources are not available in house; Review and approve the timesheets & expenses of the project team and also submit your timesheet/expenses following the timeline; Provide inputs to the Ops and Practice leads during monthly forecast meetings; Inform the project team daily on the daily objectives including prioritization for development and testing teams, and review the project financial on a monthly basis; Work with Internal and External Stakeholders to review the Progress and Track the Deliverables. Engage/inform CS at least 45 days prior to Go-live in order to initiate the CS Handover Process and submit handover docs; Managing Change requests; Responsbilities and Required Experience: 10-15yrs years’ experience in project or program management Banking domain : good to have Customer Facing experince is must and Should Planning activities sequencing it, and monitoring progress, escalate to management as needed Project set up and maintained in Kimble; Resource Booking; Coordinating with team on travel arrangements; Validating & approving the Timesheets and expenses of the Project Team; Timely invoicing of the project to the client; Providing inputs in forecasting; Tracking progress of software development for client delivery
