Lead Property Field Claims Adjuster

As alead field claims adjuster- large losson our Home Property team, you’ll successfully and efficiently resolve large loss, high severity claims valued over $75,000. In this role, you’ll investigate complex, high risk claims which includes assessing damage and coverage. Ensuring claims are fairly and accurately investigated, you’ll also negotiate settlements with all involved parties. This role may also require attending depositions, mediations or other legal proceedings.

Territory: This position requires travel across the country 75% of the time. Applicant must live within one hour of a major airport.This is a remote position. You will not be required to report into an office and will work from home when not traveling. Applicant must live in one of the following states: Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Monday, Wyoming, New Mexico, or Colorado.

Duties responsibilities

Determine extent of property loss; estimate repair costs and replacements in accordance with state guidelinesIdentify exposures (increase replacement cost, additional living expense, mold, ordinance and law, debris removal)Oversee Personal Property and Contents related to property loss, assess damages, and resolve exposureInterpret homeowner policies for all states, forms in force and other records to determine coverage and limits

Must-have qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher and five years structural field claims experience, at least three years of which must be in personal insurance property claims handlingInstead of the above, two years of post-secondary education and seven years or more of structural field claims experience, three years of which must be in personal insurance property claims handlingInstead of a degree, a minimum of nine years structural field claims experience, three years of which must be in personal insurance property claims handlingValid driver's license and auto insurance in compliance with Progressive's driving standards and/or policiesApplicant must live with one hour of a major airport

Compensation

Starting salary $84,200 - $102,900 annually based on experienceGainshare bonus up to 24% of your eligibleearnings based on company performance$5,000starting bonus included

Schedule:Monday - Friday with flexibility to work nights and weekends based on business need
