Lead QA Analyst (W/M/NB) - [Assassin's Creed Franchise]

Founded in 1996, Ubisoft Annecy has developed many sagas, especially on Splinter Cell, Assassin’s Creed®, while focusing on multiplayer online and social aspects, and also on concrete game mandates such as Tom Clancy’s: The Division 2® and Ghost Recon Wildlands. Job Description

As Lead QA, you will have a multifaceted role that combines strategic vision, production processes, monitoring, and management. Your responsibilities encompass:

Quality Management:

Actively participate in shaping the strategic vision for quality in collaboration with project and studio management (Producers, and Studio Quality Director)Establish the best structure and quality processes with project managementDefine optimal monitoring processes, tools, and KPIsDevelop the reporting strategy and ensure its relevance throughout the production cycleMaximize quality vs. efforts during milestones and game-closing periodsConduct ongoing risk assessment

QA Leadership:

Manage and lead the QA team, defining schedules and tasksPrioritize bugs and collaborate with production teamsUtilize QA expertise across various game platforms (Xbox, Playstation, PC, Ect...)Strive to ensure the quality of features both present and future within the projectServe as the point of contact for all quality issuesDesign and continuously update the testing processCreate and manage daily bug fixes based on quality data using dashboards, filters, and established processesCollaborate with other QC teams and ensure coordination

Management:

Build an optimal resource plan for the projectMotivate and manage the QA team
Monitor and forecast the resourcing needs during different production cycles, and escalate to the studio quality director and producer accordingly.Coach team members to foster their development in their current positions or for career growthReview team performance, set objectives,and manage interpersonal conflictsManage the team's schedule

QualificationsPrevious experience working in a similar capacity in the video games industry and having worked closely with 1st parties or within a game production studio.Proactive leader-mentor with a change mindset.A champion for quality who fearlessly engages in challenging discussions.Resilient professional adept at handling high-pressure environments, crucial for collaborating with code development teams and quality control, addressing team feedback, navigating frequent interactions across all production levels, and engaging in continuous problem-solvingExperience in creating, updating and monitoring KPIs for internal and co-dev teamsA data-driven individual catalyzing improvement within the quality team, adept at assessing risks, and escalating issues to the producer for strategic action.Proficiency in written and spoken English
