The role of the Lead Quality and Airworthiness Engineer is pivotal in this context. This position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with regulatory and airworthiness requirements. The role entails driving continuous business improvement to achieve safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective operations. This strategic position supports our mission to uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency in our engineering practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Quality and Airworthiness section is responsible for Engineering activities related to
airworthiness, safety, compliance of all aircraft types operated by Cathay Pacific Airways and its customer airlines
The Lead Quality and Airworthiness Engineer is responsible for overseeing and governing the compliance regulatory and airworthiness requirements
Responsible for:
Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Licence (or equivalent)Typically 8 years of relevant experienceProven experience in supervising and managing projects and cross functional teamsDetailed aircraft knowledge and approval holder on majority of Cathay Pacific and its customers airlineExcellent in communication, influencing and negotiation skills with service providers and customersExcellent analytical mind and problem solving skills to drive for excellence and quality performanceAdaptable and responsive to change. Demonstrate ability to drive change and improvementHighly motivated and committed to drive for continuous improvement
