Primary Function:

Assigns work schedules, trains associates in warehouse processes and monitor’s associates’ progress.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform the duties of a position being lead.
• Conduct training for new associates.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs as required.
• Review documents prepared by associates of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
• Monitor and direct performance of associates within the work group.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Education/Background Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of related work experience required.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
• Working knowledge of warehouse and business processes.
• Good leadership, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to read, understand, follow directions and instructions.

 Working Conditions:
• Warehouse environment and refrigerated environment.
