Lead and coordinate IATF 16949 audits, including internal, customer, and third-party auditsMaintain and improve quality management systems to ensure ongoing compliance with IATF requirementsDevelop, implement, and monitor quality programs, procedures, and documentationLead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformitiesSupport production teams with quality-related issues and trainingReview and analyze data from inspections, audits, and testing to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with engineering, production, and customer service to resolve quality concernsMaintain calibration and inspection equipment recordsDuties assigned as neededRequired Skills and Education
Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of quality experience in a powder metal or manufacturing environmentIn-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and auditing practicesCertified Internal Auditor for IATF 16949 preferredStrong problem-solving skills and familiarity with quality tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP)Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and quality management softwareAbout AAM:
