Lead Radiation Therapist

Coordinates, prepares, and administers radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures to infants, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist with minimum supervision.  Applies appropriate radiation safety practices, performs quality assurance procedures, and provides clear and concise documentation.

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion in a program of formal education as recommended by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Technology, which has been approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA). Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists  Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification 2 years Radiation therapy experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years Combination of clinical and supervisory experience.
