Lead Radiology Technologist
**Req Number** 145131 Job Description Leads and guides Radiology Technologists. Operates X-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body. Job Responsibility + * Gives guidance and direction to Radiology Technologists + * Prepares patients for roentgen graphic and or fluoroscopy examinations, as required. + * Sets up and operates stationary and mobile x-ray equipment. + * Develops films by automatic and manual processing, in accordance with established dark room procedures. + * Makes copies and reversals of film and does subtraction of films, when necessary. + * Prepares and maintains patient records to assure proper billing. + * Maintains equipment in efficient operating condition, makes minor adjustments and cleans equipment. + * Maintains work area in efficient operating condition, trains new employees, and instructs students. + Performs related duties, as required. *ADA Essential Functions Job Qualification + Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. + New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required. + American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Technologist (R.T.), required. + BLS certification, required. + Minimum of two (2) years experience as a Radiology Technologist, required. + Working knowledge of x-ray equipment and related instruments used during imaging examinations. + Ability to communicate effectively. ***Additional Salary Detail** The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
