Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Lead React Native Developer for one of their large media and entertainment clients. This is a remote opportunity, and will work pacific standard time. This person is joining the team that is responsible for the Connected TV experience. This team has a tight deadline to essentially rebuild onto a new platform. This application is already built, however there is now a new platform that it needs to move to. This will be a re-build for FireTV and the responsibility will be to re-write the code base (the features etc) in React Native. These features include Video on Demand, bookmarks, favorites lists and known authentication/known profile. This is a greenfield project and it will be this person's responsibility to write this code from scratch. We are ideally looking for someone that has recently built multiple react native applications for either smart tv/CTV, iOS or Android. Skills and Requirements Recent experience as a Lead Developer - mentoring other devs, speaking up in meetings about code base, making suggestions etc 5-7+ years of development experience 3-5 years of experience with React-Native development for smartTV, iOS or Android Experience building multiple React-Native apps and any experience building them from the ground up is a bonus Expertise in React principles such as virtual DOM (or VDOM), component lifecycle, component state, hooks, and props Proficiency in React Native tools and technologies such as Visual Studio Code, Jest, ESLint, and others Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and JSON null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
