Summary About the position: This position is located at the Rocker Enlisted Club on Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Responsibilities Monitors operations of the bingo program, normally during absence of the Supervisory Recreation Assistant and normally at night or on weekends. Leads and trains 5-6 rec aids in their performance of their duties. Assist with the planning and promoting of the bingo program for the Enlisted Club Complex. In the absence of the Supervisory Recreation Assistant insures that the facilities are properly set up for each Bingo session. Checks equipment to insure proper operation prior to each Bingo session. This includes cash registers, Bingo machine, lights, handheld sets, TV's and sound system. Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility, and that rules, regulations and established procedures are followed. Provides instruction and guidance to staff members during the shift. Uses a cash register to take payments and record sales for Bingo cards and rentals of electronic bingo devices. Completes bingo pay out control sheet to identify and verify winners. Completes cashier report. Calls bingo games and performs other duties as assigned.
