Job Summary
KBR’s Readiness and Sustainment Solutions recruiting team is looking for a Lead Recruiter (Team Lead) to join our team. As part of the R&S Government Solutions team you will work in a fast moving and dynamic environment. We are looking for a leader who can offer a consultative recruiting approach, working closely with hiring managers and project leads to determine the best methods to attract and source talent. This is a remote position and will require some travel to customer sites both CONUS and OCONUS.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage a team of recruiters and internal customers in ensuring positive team culture, performance, change management, and PTO management.
Oversee recruiting operations, including internal mobility, internships, functional teams, vendor relations, and SkillBridge military hiring programs.
Coach, motivate, and support team members, providing feedback and development opportunities.
Ensure the successful execution of end-to-end recruiting solutions and delivery of team hiring goals and deliverables.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners through a consultative approach.
Regularly track and share pipeline activity with stakeholders, using data to inform decisions on business processes and approaches.
Initiate and implement recruitment strategies to increase the talent pool and pipelines.
Identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiencies, removing roadblocks to team success.
Source, screen, and identify qualified candidates for direct hire and contingent opportunities.
Collaborate with the Proposal team to identify and secure key personnel for proposal submissions.
Partner with People Operations team to manage candidate processing and onboarding, ensuring accurate completion of all required paperwork.
Act as a recruiting subject matter expert, advising leadership on best practices.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of management experience
Previous experience with recruiter metrics, internet sourcing skills, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage hiring of multiple concurrent positions
Excellent communication skills both verbally (over the phone or in-person), and in basic business writing such as letters, job postings, marketing materials, etc.
Strong coaching and mentoring skills
Ability to build strong, productive relationships with hiring managers
Strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability
Ability to adapt within a continually evolving environment using proven time management skills and sense of urgency
Ability to obtain a secret clearance
Proven track record of success working remote
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years professional experience preferred
Active secret clearance
