What will I be doing?
\nAs a Restaurant Lead Host/Hostess, you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nWelcome guests and ascertain their dining needs\nSeat guests and manage the seating chart\nMonitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow\nPerform opening and closing duties, as needed\nReceive, record and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant/outlets.\nConduct daily \"roll call meetings\" to keep staff informed of current promotions, daily specials, guest comments, daily events and pertinent memos.\nAssist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.\nEnsure knowledge of menu\nRead, maintain and make daily entries in the log book to coordinate communication between shifts and management\nRespond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\nMaintain proper set-up of dining room and enforce uniform and grooming standards of all service personnel on a daily basis. Assign stations to service staff.\nAssist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships\nWhat are we looking for?
