As a Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Engineer, you will lead problem-solving initiatives to support the manufacturing team by improving yield and on-time delivery (OTD) in the production of sensors used in nuclear reactors, radiation monitoring, oil & gas exploration, and natural gas turbines.
 

As a Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 

Leading yield/scrap/OTD problem-solving initiatives while collaborating with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Technology, and Quality.Driving a structured problem-solving approach (Shainin FACTUAL / Red X, Six Sigma, etc..) to establish an investigation strategy.Utilizing analytical & data-based tools to determine the root cause of production issues, define corrective actions, and hand them to the process owner.Presenting project status updates to key stakeholders. Communicate progress, roadblocks, and support needed.Leveraging project sponsors to help drive project priority and pace.Designing confirmation tests to prove X-->Y relationship between root cause and desired outcome with pre-defined risk.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

Have a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, etc..) or Physics from an accredited universityHave a minimum of 5 years of experienceDemonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS OfficeHave the ability to coordinate several projects concurrentlyHave proven experience in problem-solving and failure analysis using statistical tools like Shainin and/or Six Sigma
